I find myself on unceded indigenous territory in so called Canada, an exile unable to return to Palestine. I trespass the colonial border as a digital spectre floating through Ayalon-Canada Park, transplanted over three Palestinian villages razed by the Israeli Occupation Forces in 1967.” Mapping Lessons by Philip Rizk Egypt - 2020 - 61 min - Documentary In Mapping Lessons we travel with K through time and place to a Middle East being colonized. This essay film puts struggles in conversation, from the early days of the Soviets, 1936 Spain, the Vietnamese resistance and the Paris Commune to the Syrian Revolution in 2011.
