As the days go by, he has to face up to the expectations of those around him. His mother wants him to get married in the village and his brother, a former political prisoner, seems to have a score to settle with him… As the Israeli settlement on the opposite hill chokes the village and attracts Palestinian labour to its construction sites, Shadi’s return turns into disillusionment.
