Route 181: Fragments of a Journey in Palestine-Israel

France | 2003 | 272 min | Documentaire Route 181, fragments of a journey in Palestine-Israel offers an unprecedented look at the inhabitants of Palestine-Israel, from the shared perspective of an Israeli and a Palestinian. For two months in the summer of 2002, Eyal Sivan and Michel Khleifi traveled together from the south to the north of their country. To complete this journey on their homeland, they traced their route on a road map and called it "route 181". This virtual line follows the borders of Resolution 181 adopted by the United Nations on November 29, 1947, which provided for the partition of Palestine into two states. A film by Michel Khleifi, Eyal Sivan
