Czech Republic, Lebanon | 2020 | 17 min - Documentary, Animation A video conversation between Farah, who recently moved to Prague, and her grandmother, living in Lebanon, recalls their fate as Palestinian refugees who were granted the Lebanese citizenship in 1994. The two women, from different generations, touch on topics that are filled with emotions, memories and hope. A film by Farah Abou Kharroub Farah Abou Kharroub is an award winning Palestinian director, writer, and producer who was born and raised in Lebanon. She is pursuing her MFA degree in film directing at FAMU in Prague. Farah works with both fiction and non-fiction formats, and through her work she explores themes that are related to identity. In 2020, Farah was presented as a Producer under the spotlight with her feature film in development. She is an alumni of 16th Sundance Rawi and Jihlava Academy. Farah is currently working as a screenwriter and showrunner for the leading series platform in the Arab world Shahid VIP.
