The Triangle-Astérides art center in Marseille (France) and B7L9 in La Marsa (Tunisia) are joining forces to co-produce the first institutional solo exhibition by artist Mona Benyamin, which will feature a new installation based on her ongoing research into the connections between sound and power, as well as earlier videos— "Tomorrow, again" (2023), "Moonscape"(2020) and "Trouble in Paradise" (2018). MONA BENYAMIN Mona Benyamin is a visual artist, filmmaker, and cellist born in 1997 in Haifa. She lives and works between Haifa and the Hudson Valley, New York. Mona Benyamin is a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and the Cooper Union, and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree at Bard College. Her work has recently been featured in exhibitions and screenings at Mosaic Rooms (UK), TASHWEESH Festival (TU), Beursschouwburg (BE), Tanzquartier (AT), Abrons Arts Center (US), Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (LJ), Callirrhoë (GR), and Thorvaldsens Museum (DK). Her work is also part of the KADIST collection in Paris.
