Gaza Ghetto
Sweden | 1984 | 1h25 | Documentary In 1948, Abu El-Adel, a twenty-year-old Palestinian, fled Dimra with his family when the Israeli army arrived in the village. Since then, he has lived in Jabaliya camp in Gaza. This archival documentary takes us back to the 1980s. Intimate, poetic, he shows us the colossal changes that have transformed places and society in Gaza. Filmed in 1984, the footage of Gaza Ghetto heralds the first Intifada.
