Homenessness
Palestine | 2018 | 18 min | Documentary When William was 35 years old, he lost his job, his wife and his house. He decides to take refuge in nature to heal himself. William’s journey leads him to discover his new permanent place and pushes him to change his view of the concepts of home, materiality and belonging. A film by Ahmad Al-Bazz Ahmad Al-Bazz, born in 1993, is a multi-award winning journalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker based in the West Bank city of Nablus. He has been a member of the Activestills photo collective since 2012. Homenessness is Ahmad’s 2nd documentary film after To My Mother (2014) that has won several regional and international film awards. This film is selected for the 5th edition of the short film competition.
