To cope, they have shut themselves away in their villa, clinging desperately to nostalgia for their former glory, until the day an orphaned niece, Badia, enters their lives and turns their world upside down. Believing it to be their duty to perpetuate the family name, the three sisters set about getting her to marry a Christian, aristocratic bachelor.
