Palestine | 2014 | 1h25 | Fiction Three unmarried sisters from the Christian aristocracy of Ramallah are unable to come to terms with the new reality of the occupation and the mass emigration of the Palestinian aristocracy. To cope, they have shut themselves away in their villa, clinging desperately to nostalgia for their former glory, until the day an orphaned niece, Badia, enters their lives and turns their world upside down. Believing it to be their duty to perpetuate the family name, the three sisters set about getting her to marry a Christian, aristocratic bachelor. By dragging Badia to all the funerals, all the weddings and all the masses, will they manage to find her a good husband? A film by Suha Arraf
