Paradise Now

Palestine | 2005 | 1h27 | Fiction Two Palestinian childhood friends, Khaled and Said, are assigned to carry out a suicide bombing in Tel Aviv. Having volunteered for a faction several years ago, they are bound by a moral contract that they cannot or will not break. They spend one last evening with their families, but are unable to say goodbye. The next day, equipped with their explosive belts, they are taken to the border.
