Palestine | 2012 | 22 mn | Documentary Filmed between Bethlehem, Haifa and Nazareth, this film follows the story of Karimeh Abbud, who was born in Bethlehem in 1894 and was the first female professional photographer in Palestine. She rapidly rose to prominence in a traditionally male-dominated profession. Through her photos and letters we get a glimpse of her country before the 1948 forced exile, as well as the singularity of this forgotten photographer. A film by Mahassen Nasser Eldin
