A response to Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, who declared that the Palestinian people did not exist. A film by Mustafa Abu Ali Born in 1940 in Maliha, Palestine, director and producer Mustafa Abu Ali is considered as one of the founders of Palestinian cinema. In 1967-1968, after studying cinema in London, he founded with the filmmakers Hany Jawhariyya and Sulafa Jadallah, under the aegis of Fatah, a film unit in Amman, Jordan. In 1973, Mustafa Abu Ali contributed to the creation of the “Palestinian Cinema Group”, intended to promote the development of a Palestinian cinema that supports the national resistance. Related to the revolutionary cinema movement, Mustafa Abu Ali has directed more than thirty films throughout his career.
